Voice of the Staffing Industry

As proven labour market intermediaries, Private Employment Agencies (PEA) and Temporary Employment Services (TES), have an important role to play in facilitating transitions. CAPES promotes the highest levels of compliance with all applicable regulations, and believes that better enforcement, including mandatory professionalisation, rather than additional legislation, are paramount.

Since 2002 CAPES has been at the forefront of negotiations for labour legislation and those regulating the industry and continues to champion the need for fit-for-purpose regulatory frameworks that acknowledge and enable a globally competitive, diverse employment-rich, future world of work for South Africa.
