Enabling & Empowering the Industry
In the past twenty years, CAPES has engaged with various stakeholders and implemented several successful initiatives aimed at improving compliance and enforcement mechanisms by bringing more agencies into the fold, educating and supporting assignees and clients, and the professionalization and capacity-building of the industry. Further, throughout the years CAPES has regularly hosted events for stakeholders, including Clients, with the goal of providing the latest information on labour market and associated regulatory changes, to promote the use of compliant PEA and TES.
CAPES also values its collaborative public-private partnership relationship, cultivated over the past decade, with the Department of Employment & Labour and strives to inform and drive compliance and best practice across the private employment services sector.
Through APSO, CAPES enjoys representation at a global level via the World Employment Confederation (WEC). CAPES representatives have, for the past twenty years, been actively involved in various global initiatives including with International Labour Organisation (ILO) on Decent Work, Future of Work, Fair Recruitment, etc.
