Professionalising the Industry

Staffing Professional Status Recognised

In 2013 the private employment services industry was recognised as a profession by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Three professional designations: Individual Staffing Practitioner, Individual Staffing Professional, and Individual Staffing Master, were registered and provide a career path for individuals working within the industry.

APSO was recognised as the professional body for the industry and manages the registration and continuous professional development (CPD) for all registered individuals. There are multiple benefits of professionalisation for all involved in staffing, including:
